Unusual Hot Market for January Durham Region Association of REALTORS® (DRAR) reported a 66% increase in sales of 191 in the first half of the month from 115 during the same time last January. DRAR President, Dierdre Mullen added, "Average selling prices have jumped 11% ($283,674) from $256,344 this January over last and with inventories down 45% (1275) from 2324, it continues to be more of a seller's market".
